Rose Ann Marek, 95, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020, in Ennis, Texas. Burial will be at Kaufman Cemetery. Rose Ann was born on June 26, 1924, in Kaufman, Texas, to the late Frank Joe and Albina A. Babovek Pechal. She married Jerry Wayne Marek on February 16, 1948, at the First Baptist Church in Kaufman, Texas. Rose worked for the Lone Star Gas Company for many years and her favorite hobby was shopping at Macy’s. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jerry, on November 28, 2014. Survivors include her brothers: Eugene, Frank, and Johnny Pechal; sisters-in-law: Helen Pechal and Kelly Pechal; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
