Bio

Anne C. Rogers, 88, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2007, at the Clayton Kay-Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel in Alvarado. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2007, in Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard. Anne was born in Hubbard, Texas, to the late Christopher P. and Mary Elizabeth "Bettie" Lowe Norris. She enjoyed gardening and loved shopping, going to estate sales and garage sales, where she always found wonderful treasures. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willmer A. Rogers in March of 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Green and husband, Frank, of Arlington; nephews, Rev. David J. Norris, of Fresno, CA, Cecil Norris and his wife, Billye, of San Angelo, Texas; nieces, Helen Levy, of Temple, Mary Kaddatz and her husband, Ervin, of West, Texas, Faye Lyfareff and her husband, Walter, of Concord, CA, and June Furlow, of Hubbard.
