Norma Jean "Bunt" Hall was called home, at the age of 95, on June 15, 2020 surrounded by her family. Norma, known as Bunt, which was a nickname given to her as a young child, was born on Friday, March 13, 1925 in Anna, Texas. Bunt was the baby of 13 children. She grew up in Anna where she attended school and met her husband, Harold B.\yron Hall. They married September 1946 and were married for 65 yrs. They worked alongside each other on the family dairy farm for over 40 yrs. They were long time members of Westminster Baptist Church and Bunt was known for her fried chicken, and sweet potato pie at church gatherings. Bunt would tell others she didn't like to cook but she longed for those family Sunday dinners at her house where she made her cornbread dressing, sweet potato pie and the coconut snowballs the family looked forward to. Norma Jean "Bunt" Hall is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and loving husband, H. B. Hall, and son, Roger Gene Hall. She is survived by sons, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, a sister-in-law and many life-long friends. In view of social distancing guidelines, reminiscences, comforts and thoughts can be shared with Norma's family at www.scogginsfuneralhome.com. A come and go visitation will be on Wednesday, June 17 from 9:00AM to 6:00PM at Scoggins. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, at 10am at Elm Grove Cemetery, Westminster, Tx. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Polly Knight, Guardian Home Healthcare and Guardian Hospice.
