Bio
Donald was one of eight children of Emil and Agnes (Weverka) Rech. He graduated from David City High School in 1955 and served in the United States Air Force. Don was employed as a mechanic for the United States Postal Service until his retirement. Don and Paula Jean Berg were united in marriage on June 28, 1968 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska. They lived in the Omaha area before moving to live near Malvern, Iowa in 2003. Don was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Glenwood. He loved to tinker with things and was always building or making something. Don and Paula were married 51 years when Paula passed away on August 28, 2019.
