MALISH, Pete Anton of Rt.2, Elgin. Age 79. Died 5/20/90 (Sunday) in Johns Community Hospital. Services held 5/22 (Tuesday) at Condra Memorial Chapel. Burial in Thorndale City Cemetery. Rev. Bryan Sullivan officiated. He was BORN 5/15/11 at Rice's Crossing, the son of the late Joe and Annie (Yuga) Malish. Lived in Elgin since 1956, and was owner/operator of a television repair shop and a ward attendent with Travis State School. Member of Grace Lutheran Church and the NRA. Preceded in death were his wife, Willie Smith, 5 brothers, 4 sisters and great-grandson. SURVIVORS: 3 daughters and husbands, Irene & Noel Taylor of Port Neches, Billy & Wilfred Goertz of Bastrop, Bonnie & John Anderson of Austin; son and wife, Carl & Linda Malish of Orange; sister, Tracy Watson of Taylor; brother, Frank Malish of Taylor; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
