Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 14, 2002 at the Providence Funeral Home for Lillian Linnea Pearson Cloud who passed away on April 12, 2002 at the Taylor Hospital. She was born in Hutto, Texas on February 17,1915. Lillian was preceded in death by her first husband, Eddie Appel, her mother and father, Esther and Carl Pearson, sister, Alice Pearson and brother, Harry Pearson. She was a member of 10th Street Methodist Church all her life. Survivors are her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Ross Cloud; daughters Carolyn Shinn and husband Leonard of Manor; Janet Owen and husband Fred of Austin; stepdaughter, Janice Dishman of Estes Park, Colorado; stepson Steve Cloud of Austin; sisters, Gene Burkhart of Taylor and Helen Williams of Bartlett. Grandchildren are Sheree Bailey, Teresa Neal, Cindy Elbrecht, Linnea Costas, Dianna Cooper, Alan Shinn, Audra Herod, Dan Dishman, Paula Hudson and Jason Cloud. She is survived by thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She graduated from Hutto High School and worked at Taylor Bedding Manufacturing Co. as a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed living on the farm after leaving work and her grandchildren have many happy memories of summers spent with their grandparents on their farm. Lillian was a very positive person and lived life to the fullest. She loved flowers and working in her garden and traveling with her husband. She enjoyed playing dominoes and was a member of a 42 club in the Hoxie Community. Thanks are extended to the loving and caring staff at the SPJST Nursing Home where she lived for 2 years. A special thanks also to Dr. Cohen and the wonderful and caring nurses at the Taylor Hospital. Pastor Walt and Church Circle 4 have been very kind and considerate. Pallbearers are her grandsons: Don Neal, Roger Bailey, Alan Shinn,Tom Costas, Tim Elbrecht, Dan Cooper, Jason Cloud, Dan Dishman.
