John Ike Wilson, age 66, of Fort Smith, AR died August 31, 2001 in a Ft. Smith Hospital. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Charleston, AR. He served in the U. S. Army and was a retired insurance adjuster. He is survived by his wife, Letha Fredrick Wilson of the home; a son, Brian Keith Wilson of Tulsa, OK; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary Shirley Wilson of Shalimar, FL; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Bob & Maxine Rogers of Havana, AR; two nieces, Lori Clark of Niceville, FL and Andrea Rogers-Goodwin of Ferndale, AR; two nephews, Randy Wilson of Auburn, AL and Brad Wilson of Shalimar, FL. Funeral service was September 4, 2001 at First Baptist Church of Charleston with burial at Garden of Memories in Charleston under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston, AR. Pallbearers were R. A. Leonard, Bob Rogers, David Haney, Eddie Kleck, Phillip Raney, Dale Rice, Reed Haynes. Honorary were Charles Clem, Dick Shumate and Joe Martine. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the John Ike Wilson Memorial Fund, First Baptist Church of Charleston.
