Buried in Memorial Garden (Section F) in Memoryland Cemetery. 5-28-2006 Herald Banner Pearly Smith Pearly Smith, 95, of Greenville, died Friday at Greencrest Manor. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Kenneth Linden officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park. Born in Leonard on Aug. 28, 1910, she was the daughter of Oscar and Audrey Smith Bridges. She married Garnett Smith on Dec. 3, 1932 in Greenville. She was the restaurant manager of the Vel Mar Drive-In and the Pizza Spa. She was a Baptist and attended Salvation Army church services. She is survived by her son and wife, Harold and Martha Smith of Greenville; son and wife Freddie and Sandra Smith of Garland; step-son and wife, Dale and Betty Smith of Holt; step-daughter, Garnell Broussard of Dallas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother and one sister. Pallbearers are Joe Coleman, Jason Smith, Joey Warren, Carl Dunlap and Floyd Voss. Visitation is scheduled from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
