MURRELL CURTIS WRIGHT was the son of John Ervin Wright and Mrs. Katherine 'Kate' (Cates Blackwell) Wright. Obituary "Services for Murrell Curtis Wright, 86, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel, in Shreveport, Louisiana, with Brigadier Elmer Capp presiding. A burial wil follow at the Forest Park Cemetery, in Shreveport. Mr. Wright died following a long illness on Thursday, July 12, at 1:45 a.m. at the Merritt Plaza Nursing Home, in Marshall, Texas. He was born on February 28, 1904 in Oklahoma. Mr. Wright worked as a carpenter for Allen Millworks, and he was a member of the Salvation Army. Survivors include his wife, Ester D. Wright, of Marshall, Texas; a niece, Lula Mae Dosier, of Coriscana, Texas; and a nephew, Henry Wright, of Waco, Texas. The Sullivan Family of Funeral Directors, of Marshall, Texas, is handling the local funeral arrangements."
