Wife of Ira Thomas Earhart Married: Oct. 4, 1957 Services for Tommie Earhart will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Hilliard Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Meadows officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Garden Valley Cemetery, Smith County. Tommie Ellen Eason Earhart was born October 23, 1939 in Garden Valley, Texas to the late John Thomas Eason and Ettie Crocker Eason. She had been a resident of Lawton, Oklahoma since 2001, formerly living in Mabank. She retired after working as a silk presser for her local dry cleaners for many years worked. Mrs. Earhart passed away at the age of 83 on May 31, 2023 in Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Thomas Earhart. Survivors include her three daughters and sons-in-law, Vickey & Paul White, Becky & Bud Dodge, and Michele & Gerald Norris; sister, Joyce Bryant of Rowlett; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
