JACKSONVILLE -- Susie Dawson Albritton Stone, 81, of Jacksonville, died February 9, 1998, at Rebsamen Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 18, 1916, in Ouachita County, a daughter of the late John Randal and Edna Key Albritton. She was raised and received her early education in Ouachita County, graduating from Harmony Grove High School. She lived at Altheimer from 1945 to August 1997, when she moved to Jacksonville. She was a homemaker and a member of Altheimer First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Zack Stone, whom she married on November 17, 1934, and who died on October 8, 1977; four brothers; two sisters; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Survivors include two sons, Zack Stone of Hot Springs Village and Jerry Stone of Altheimer; two daughters, Gaylia Holmes of Jacksonville and Janice Smith of Stuttgart; a sister, Zylpha Berlier of Galt, California; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with the Rev. Rex Newman officiating.
