Emma Lee Barnes was born on January 23, 1944 and passed away on May 25, 2020 in Starks, Louisiana and is under the care of Hixson Funeral Home-Vinton. They are survived by Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James H Barnes of Starks; son, Keith "Beau" Cheney and wife, Kerri of Sulphur; Todd Barnes and wife, Stacy of Beaumont, Texas; daughter, Lisa Kilroy and husband, Mike of California; daughter, Jana Maldonado of Corpus Christi, Texas; twelve grandchildren, Joshua Cheney and wife, Meagan, Brayden Cheney, Hunter Rabalais, Alayna Rabalais, Lillian Rabalais, Ashlyn Barnes, Michael Cheney and wife, Melissa, Alan Cheney and wife, Kristen, Lauren Kilroy, Alyssa Kilroy, Matthew Wilcox, Brandon Wilcox, Caitlyn Hill and husband, Jaxon, Steven Maldonado; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Anderson of Virginia and Debbie Dunn of Baytown, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews and so many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Karl Wayne Cheney, daughter, Sherry Monique Wilcox, parents, Royce and Emma Preston, and two sisters, Ruby Ingle, Katherine Ashworth..
