Elsie Josephine Bernt married Joseph Krebsbach on 18 Sept 1906 in Polk county, Nebraska. Joseph was the son of Johann/John Krebsbach and Gertrude Schmidt. Elsie and Joseph were parents of Emma E., Arnold Joseph, Erna G., Alba Catherine Krebsbach Wimbish, and Donald J. After their marriage Elsie and Joe lived in Stuart, Ne. where she worked as a dressmaker. They moved to Texas where Emma was born in Jan. of 1908. They were back in Stuart by 1910 and moved to Hastings, Ne in the 1920's. Elsie worked at the hospital in Hastings as a seamstress. Her daughters Emma (stenographer and secretary) and Erna (floor maid and trained nurse) and her husband also worked at the hospital.
