Bio

Gravesite is the northernmost grave in the 3rd row from the east side of the cemetery. A 4H club had placed the markers on the unmarked graves with plates that listed names and dates. Someone entered the cemetery and stole all the copper/brass plates. Contributed by Connie VanLuchene. Obituary from Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Bozeman, Montana, Tue, Jul 9, 1918, page 5. Death of E. V. Rowlette. Edgar V. Rowlette died at the home of his son, 262 North Montana Street, Sunday morning at five o'clock. Mr. Rowlette was 58 years old and had been ill for some time. He is survived by his wife and three sons, W.A. and J. O. Rowlette of this city and S. L. Rowlette of Columbus, Kansas. The funeral services were held at the Harland and Craven funeral home, yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. H. Q. Morton of the Baptist church was in charge of the services. Edgar Rowlette Dies - Edgar Rowlette, 59 years old, died at the home of his son, 262 North Montana Street, in this city, Sunday morning. The body was taken to the Harland & Craven funeral home from which the funeral was held Monday afternoon and the interment made in the Salesville Cemetery. Mr. Rowlette had resided in Gallatin valley some years ago, but for the past five years had been living in Missouri. He returned to Bozeman about four months ago to resume his residence here. He is survived by his wife and three sons, W.A. and J. O. Rowlette of Bozeman, and S.L. Rowlette of Columbus, Kansas, besides a brother and sister in Sedalia, Missouri, and a sister in San Diego, California.
