Bio
David James Pechacek, 48, of Las Vegas, and Hillsboro, Oregon, passed away peacefully in his sleep October 1, 2017. He was born December 3, 1968, in Las Vegas. David was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He will be greatly missed. David was preceded in death by his father, James R. Pechacek. He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Pechacek; brothers and sisters, Nathan (Lisa) Pechacek, Margaret (Ed) Lommason, Daniel (Janette) Pechacek, Lori (John) Horton and Amy (Ryan) Beaman; six nieces; four nephews; one great-niece; and one great-nephew. David was a graduate of Western High School, served in the U.S. Navy and graduated UNLV. He was a special education teacher for the Clark County School District and worked at John Mull's Meats. Services for family and friends will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 20, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Celebration of life will follow at his brother, Nathan's, house.
