ZAMORSKY, Joseph (Joe) Raymond of Rt. 3, Taylor. Age 67. Died 1/2/1990 (Tuesday) in the Veterans Hospital at Temple. Services held (Friday) in the Taylor Brethren Church. Burial in the Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. James D. Hejl and Rev. Dan Marek officiated. He was BORN 10/28/1922 in Taylor to the late Stanley & Albina (Simcik) Zamorsky. Resident of the community for most of his life. Member of above church, the American Legion Post 39, and SPJST Lodge. Veteran of WW-2, serving in the Air Force. Preceded in death by his brother, Albert Zamorsky, nephew, Kevin Zamorsky and granddaughter, Jessica Gilchrist. Nephews served as pallbearers. SURVIVORS: Wife, Albina of Taylor; daughter & husband, Karen Jean & Trey Gilchrist of Thorndale; 2 sons, Larry Joe of Taylor, Stanley John & wife, Connie, of Austin; 2 sisters & husbands, Evelyn & Arthur Schwarz of Thorndale, Alvina & Richard Arlen of Houston. 3 brothers, Willie & wife, Mildred Zamorsky of Thrall, Eugene & wife, Shirley Zamorsky of Pearland, Bennie Zamorsky of Los Angeles, CA.; 9 grandchildren.
