Bio

Visitation for George B. Hines, 88, of Fairmont, will be Thursday, August 16, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 3:00 pm at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Fairmont immediately following the prayer service with military honors provided by the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222. George passed away on Saturday morning, August 11, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements. George is survived by his brothers, Norbert Hines and Cyril Hines; and sister, Alice Simon; nieces, nephews and other extended family.
