Bio

Son of Samuel and Barbara (Jackson) Lentz. Samuel was married first to Rebecca York, on April 26, 1849, in Limestone County, Alabama. He married second to Judith Angelina Delilah Shoemaker on December 8, 1851, in Limestone County, Alabama. He married third to Ellen P. Roberts on September 3, 1868, in Caldwell County, Texas. Samuel moved to Texas from Alabama in 1851 with two of his brothers - Ashley and Gabriel who both settled in Bastrop County while Samuel settled in Travis County.
