Beverly grew up on a homestead farm. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in music from Hastings College. After graduation she married Larry Bauer. They were the closest of companions and enjoyed many trips often centered around art, architecture, music, or history. What they both loved most was having big family gatherings. Beverly would make huge, delicious meals for holidays and birthdays that everyone enjoyed! Beverly was a talented musician and had been recommended to pursue further studies and training as a concert pianist after college. She loved teaching music, directing musicals, giving private piano lessons, and entertaining her family and friends. She enjoyed and shared her gift of music until her final days. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, William Griffith; and son-in-law, John Askins, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Gigi Askins; two granddaughters (spouses), Michelle Bodie (James) and Angela Askins (Will Jackson); sister, Mary Jane Pandorf; and nine nieces and nephews.
