Services Sunday For Mrs. White [photograph of] Mrs. Mildred White Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Short White, 48, who died Tuesday in Chicago, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Gross chapel with the Rev. Robert Taylor, pastor of the Oaklawn Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Valley Cemetery. Mrs. White, a former Hot Springs resident, resided in Chicago for the past 25 years. She is survived by her husband, James White; three daughters, Mrs. Evangeline Williams, Mrs. Peggy Kadaras [Kardaras], Mrs. Dorothy Williams, all of Chicago; three sons, Elmer Herron [Heron] Jr., Chicago, and Andrew and Jimmy Herron [Heron], U.S. Army; two brothers, Robert and Andrew Short, Hot Springs; one sister, Mrs. Ola Fowler, Corpus Christi, Texas; one nephew, Clifford Short, Hot Springs; and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Austin Hendrix, Eugene Bledsoe, Roy Vickroy, A. B. (Buster) Coleman, Charlie Cockman, and George Willis. Honorary [pallbearers]: Tommy Barrett, Ralph Glascock, Doyle Hardin, Norton Meek, Dr. James Leatherman, Carl Miles, Wayne Chitwood, Cleveland Smith, employees of the Chitwood Motor Company and Smith Brothers Material and Construction Company.
