Hillsboro Argus March 15, 1971 Lynda Lea Guthrie CORNELIUS - Graveside services for Lynda Lea Guthrie were held today at Fir Lawn Cemetery in Hillsboro with the Rev. James Kimsey of First Christian Church officiating. Donelson, Sewell & Mathews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Guthrie died as the result of extreme exposure to cold weather after being lost Feb. 21 on Fern Hill, and found Saturday after an extensive search. She was born Dec. 10, 1939, at Ravenna, Neb., the daughter of Carl and Edna Zoucha. She was married to Thomas Guthrie, Oct. 13, 1956, at Hillsboro and lived in this area since. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, and was employed at Tektronix as a secretary. She was a member of Hillsboro Christian Church. Mrs. Guthrie was an artist and had had a showing of her paintings during February at a Seattle Gallery. Her work also had been exhibited at Tektronix. She is survived by her widower, Thomas; children, Crystal Lynn, Kelly Ann and Carolyn Lea; brother, Richard I. Zoucha of Portland; her parents of Hillsboro, and grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Seness of Loup City, Neb.
