Velma Bea Dickerson of Celina, Texas passed away on April 17, 2020 at the age of 97. She was born November 10, 1922 to John Henry and Wilma Marie (Simpson) Miller in Collin County, Texas. Bea graduated valedictorian of Alla-Hubbard School. She loved managing the flower shop in Celina, Texas. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crafting but her true passion was spending time with her family. Bea is survived by her son [and daughter-in-law; daughter and son-in-law;] seven grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bailey Dickerson; son, Jon Carson Dickerson; two brothers and one sister. A private family graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
