DIED--At his home near Smithdale, Miss, January 13, 1899, Emmett Young, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Young, aged fourteen years, eleven months and six days. His was, indeed, a beautiful young life, and death, after six days suffering from a severe attack of pneumonia, his gentle and un-complaining spirit took its heavenward flight. During his suffering he never murmured, but was cheerful until the last hour. …In school he was punctual, obedient and studious; in the family at home he was a dutiful, kind and affectionate son.
