Bio

Donna Mae Hendrickson, daughter of James (Buster) and Eunice M. (Kirkpatrick) Parkhurst was born on April 27, 1943 and died at the age of 76 on April 8, 2020 at Saint Luke's on the Plaza. She was a homemaker for several years till around 1987, she started working at Donna's Café in Princeton and Spickard till Donna M. closed the café. Donna married Arvel E. Hendrickson on June 3, 191 in Princeton and to this union three children were born: Peggy Jean, Arvel Eugene, Jr., and Joseph Edward Hendrickson. She liked quilting, reading and going to sales. Donna is survived by her daughter: Peggy Herring and son-in-law: Dale of the home; two sons: Arvel Eugene Hendrickson and his companion, Candace of rural Princeton and Joseph Edward Hendrickson and his companion, Mary of Bethany; Sister: Dianna Kammerer and husband, erald of Morning Sun, IA; Uncle: Leland Parkhurst and wife of Cainsville; Sisters-in-law: Deloris Parkhurst of Princeton and Delaine Ploessel of Leon, IA; two granddaughters: Ashley Marie Herring of the home and Dallas Lee Bake of Brimson and Husband, Ken Bake; three great grandchildren: Logan, Jason & Aubree Bake of Brimson and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband: Arvel; her parents: James & Eunice Parkhurst; Parents-in-law: Earl & Irene Hendrickson; brothers: James (Pete), Buddy, Gene & Terry Parkhurst; sister: Susan Weltz; brothers-in-law: Charles Weltz & Lee Sobotka; sisters-in-law: Charlette Parkhurst & Lois Parkhurst.
