Harvey Knoell was born to George Knoell and Katherine (Mintken) Knoell in 1904. He married Shirley Elliot Knoell and they had one son Marion Knoell. Shirley lost her life too soon. Harvey remarried Agnes Ruhr and they had one son together Al Knoell.
