Bio
Ollie Mae Karrh, of De Kalb, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at a Texarkana, Texas care facility. She was 83. She was born March 26, 1937, in Big Sandy, Texas, to James and Roxie Harris Gammage. She was the owner of a hair salon and worked as a beautician until she retired in 2014. Ollie was a member of Austin Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Harvey Karrh; two sons, David Wayne Karrh and Ronald Harvey Karrh; four brothers, Willis Gammage, Ernest Gammage, John Gammage, and Thois Gammage; and two sisters, Eva Salter and Linda Morrison. She is survived by one son, James Karrh of Hubbard, Texas; one daughter, Teresa Kay Karrh Day of Chula Vista, California; three granddaughters, Holly Karrh of De Kalb, Texas, Kayla Karrh of De Kalb, Texas, and Ellen Karrh of Burleson, Texas; one sister, Teresa Loden of Longview, Texas; one brother, Coy Gammage of New Jersey; four great grandchildren Mason House, Austin House, Miranda House, and Caleb Lee; and one great-great grandson, Kaiden Scott; and numerous other relatives and friends. Private graveside services will be held Sunday, April 5, 2020.
