Bio

Shirley K. Teichmeier 71 of North Loup, NE died Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Valley County Health System in Ord, NE. Shirley K. (Jensen) Teichmeier was born March 1, 1949 at Ord, NE to Jens and Patricia (Johnson) Jensen. She grew up and attended school in North Loup and Loup City and graduated from Loup City High School. She married Fred “David” Teichmeier on August 19, 1972 in Loup City. Shirley lived in Loup City and North Loup most of her life. She was a CNA for over 40 years at several area nursing homes. Most recently Shirley worked at Pump and Pantry and as a seamstress for Vogeler Manufacturing. Shirley is survived by her sons, Kendall and wife, Teresa Teichmeier of Broken Bow, NE; Allen and wife Andrea Teichmeier of Kearney, NE; Eric Teichmeier of Sargent, NE; daughter, Kathy Teichmeier and significant other, Travis Wright of Norton, KS; sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sister, Sherry Torres of AZ; brothers, Randy and wife Stephanie of Marquette, NE; Larry of North Loup, NE; Shane and wife, Dorothy of North Loup, NE and Chris of Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Jason and sister, Kathy.
