Bio

George Crooks was born in Dysart, Fife, Scotland. This is a small town near Edinburgh. He was a Mormon Pioneer who went from Garden Grove, Iowa to the Salt Lake Valley arriving in September, 1851. He was the main record keeper for this group. He did not stay in Utah very long. He instead made his home and raised his family in Salmon Falls, California.
