Virginia Elizabeth (Kemp) Parr, 101, passed away on March 11, 2020 at her home in Leavenworth, IN. She was born to George F. Kemp and Florence (Johnson) Kemp on February 3, 1919 in Moweaque, Ill. Virginia was a long-time member of the Alton Baptist Church, she was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Virginia enjoyed quilting, embroidery, reading, word puzzles, and gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years, Ralph Parr, her son Donald Parr and seven siblings, a grandson and a son-in-law. Virginia is survived by her children; Robert (Mae B.) Parr and Bonnie Sue Bullington, daughter-in-law Lois Parr, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo, IN. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dillman-Green Funeral Home and on Sunday from 10:00 am until the service time. Bro Paul Holt will be officiating the funeral service with burial following at Flower Point Cemetery, in Alton, IN.
