Bio

Emily Fay Patten, age 85 of Harrisonville, Missouri, formerly of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 in Harrisonville. She was born on March 18th, 1934 in Oxley, Arkansas to Noah William Richardson and Sarah Ennis Morrison Richardson. Fay was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid quilter and loved to garden and work in her flower garden. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking large dinners for her family. Her famous hot roll recipe has been handed down through the family for years. Fay's family and especially her great-grandchildren brought her much joy. Survivors include her son; daughter and husband; four grandchildren and spouses; eight great-grandchildren; and many other cousins, other family and friends who will mourn her passing. Fay is preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Ennis Richardson; her husband James Patten; and siblings, William Richardson and Millie Richardson. Funeral services for Fay will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 9th, 2020 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. Visitation will be 10:00 till 11:00 AM preceding the service. Burial will be in Kuykendall Cemetery. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers donations may be made Asana Hospice.
