Era Lucille Rasure was born on December 3, 1923, in Hopkins Co., TX, to parents Goldman Rasure and Maudie Pearl Wilhite Rasure. She was raised in Dike, TX and attended Dike Schools. Lucille married Ides Burgin on Feb. 5th, 1941 and they made their home in Kaufman County. She was a homemaker and also worked on the family farm. Lucille loved to be around her family, tend cattle, garden and fish. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ides Burgin; parents, Goldman and Maudie Rasure; brother, Billy Wayne Taylor; grandson, Tommy Swift, and granddaughter, Tammy Burgin.
