Services for Noble Harrison Baze, 69, of Thousand Palms will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Palm Springs Mortuary Chapel. Mr. Baze, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, died Tuesday at his home. He was a drywall finisher and a member of the Painters Union for 30 years. He served with the U.S. Army during World War Il. Survivors include his wife, Helen; two daughters, Shirley Garza of Indio and Mary Whitaker of Desert Hot Springs; a son, Eugene Baze of Hesperia; three sisters, Helen McNatt of Rivista, Texas, Louell Dillings of Itasca, Texas, and Beatrice Pipes of Franklin, Texas; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
