THOMAS RUBIN ROSE, born December 8, 1933 in Ellisville, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in Houston, Texas. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Reuben and Bytha Bush Rose, and is survived by his loving wife Marlene; sons Robert Kirk Rose and wife Esther, Thomas Keith Rose; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and 6 brothers and their wives. Thomas was proud to serve on the City of Houston Police Department for over 35 years. Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday, August 3, 2007 at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway Houston, Texas 77060. Services were held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007 also at Earthman Resthaven Chapel. Interment followed at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. T.R. lived to be 73 years and 7 months and 23 days old.
