Bio

Services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. today at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home for William Henry Petty Sr., 81, of Eastabuchie, who died March 7, 1989 at Methodist Hospital. The Rev. J.B. Messer will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Ward, David Oswalt, Willis Perry, Robert Petty, Rodger Petty, J.E. Walters and Billy Ray Walters. Mr. Petty was a lifelong resident of Eastabuchie. He was retired from Southern Railroad and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Lorene Petty of Eastabuchie; two sons, William Henry Petty Jr. and Robert David Petty, both of Eastabuchie; three grandchildren; and one brother, the Rev. O.H. Petty of Petal. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
