Mrs. Kathleen Louise Sammons Forrester, 60, of Coolidge, passed away on Monday at her residence. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, at Blair-Stubbs chapel in Mexia. The Rev. Fred Sain will officiate with interment to follow in Prairie Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Kathleen was born on June 24, 1947, in Refugio, Texas, to the late Conan Doyal and Dorothy Winifred Underwood Sammons. On May 28, 1966, she married Kenneth Ray Forrester in Coolidge. She was a retired Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice property officer. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ray Forrester of Coolidge; daughter, Kelli Renee Richards and her husband, David of Gatesville; son, Kevin Ray Forrester and his wife, Crissy of Waco; grandchildren, Katelyn Renee Brock and Taylor Kristine Faust-Forrester; sisters, D. D. Haines and her husband, Wesley of The Colony, and Pat Whicker and her husband, Chuck of Sinton; brother, James B. "Jim" Sammons and his wife, Gina of Rockport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
