The Columbus Telegram Thursday 9 April 1998 P. 6 Sammie Lind San Diego — Sammie Ernest Lind, 80, of San Diego, formerly of Columbus, died Wednesday, March 25, 1998, at his home. Services were Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Park Last Supper Chapel of San Diego. the Rev. Ted Sneed officiated. burial was at Greenwood Memorial Park Bible Mausoleum. Mr. Lind was born March 2, 1918, at Mead to victor and Joshine (sic) (Gibson) Lind. HE was a 1936 graduate of Kramer High School in Columbus. Survivors include one sister, Marie Harris of Burlington, Iowa. Memorials may be given to the San Diego Zoo.
