Robert Quinn Chelette, Sr. June 9, 1941 - February 4, 2020 Funeral services for Mr. Robert Quinn Chelette, Sr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. A time of visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Liberty Chapel Cemetery, Williana, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Mr. Chelette, 78, of Dry Prong, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Woods Haven Senior Citizen Home in Pollock, LA. He was a retired offshore reel operator and an avid deer hunter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nola Chelette; his wife, Gwendolyn Jeanette Chelette and two sisters, Dot Hodnet and Inez Atwood. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include three sons, John David Chelette and his wife, Cecile, of Dry Prong, Tracy Alan Chelette and his wife, Tonya, of Dry Prong and Robert Quinn Chelette, Jr. and his wife, Jessica, of Winnfield; one daughter, Carol Ann Chelette and her husband, Don, of Dry Prong; three brothers, Tubby Chelette, of Dry Prong, Lloyd Chelette, of Dry Prong and Floyd Chelette, of Dry Prong; two sisters, Sissy Harvey and Susie Atwood; seven grandchildren, Amber, Gage, Kole, Trace, Quinton, Alana and Christian and one great grandchild, Shelby.
