Bio

The Times (Shreveport, LA), Thursday, July 6, 1978; pg. 4 Hayes J. McDole, 86, of Elm Grove died Monday night at his home after a lengthy illness. A native of Orleans, Neb., he was a resident of Elm Grove for 40 years. Mr. McDole was a horse breeder. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Osborn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Benedict Galloway, pastor of Noel Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy M. Branigan of North Platte, Neb., a son, Dale C. McDole of Red Cloud, Neb., nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be O. Jenkins, John Livingston, F.H. Delaney, Dan Delaney, Clarence Ludwig and Bill Bridges.
