Bio

Born to John Francis Kelley (1822-1886) of Tennessee & Mariah Jane Key Kelley (1829-1856) of Missouri, who married about 1846. By 1880, John & his brother were living together as single men in Collin County, TX. John married 1) Mrs. Mary Frances Burke Pierson (1850–1931) on July 7, 1880, in Collin County, TX. Mary brought her two children by a previous marriage with her. Three children: • John Francis Kelley (1881–1944) • Olvie Borda Kelley (1884–1979) • Roxie M. Kelley McClure (1886–1977) John & Mary moved to Baylor County, TX, before 1910 and lived there through 1930. They moved in with daughter Roxie McClure in Sayre, OK, in 1931. Mary died later that year. John married 2) Priscilla "Cilla" Elliott (1871-1957) on Nov. 29, 1932, in Tillman County, OK. This was a first marriage for her. No children. John & Cilla moved to Baylor County, TX, where he died.
