Bio

Margaret I. Jenkins, 74, of Olney, died on Monday, January 27, 2020 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. Margaret was born on November 2, 1945 in Gilmer, TX, the daughter of Benjamin and Jean (Sullivan) Martin. Margaret loved music and was a church pianist and organist for many years. She took pleasure in going to Gospel concerts with her sister. Margaret also loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was loved and will be missed by her family and friends. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Sue Estrada and husband Francisco of Joliet, IL; son, William Jenkins; son, Thomas Jenkins of Olney; grandchildren, Jeremy Tondini, Alexandra Tondini, and Amanda Tondini; twin sister, Kathy Gibson; brother, Bud Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens.
