Daughter of John A Mitchell Bowman and his wife Elizabeth A Horne. She was the wife of James Stewart whom she married on 14 Jul 1834. To this union were born the following children: Daniel P William H Martha J John A D Anne Louisa C Joseph J Josephine Sarah M Edith M Her parents migrated to Oregon where they both died. She and her siblings are named in their fathers Estate papers filed in Polk County, Oregon.
