Berdine Vlasta Johnson, 87, of Port Orchard, Washington passed away on December 20, 2019 after a short illness. Berdine was born on October 6, 1932 in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Rudolph and Vlasta Srb. She graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School in 1950. After her marriage in October 1951 to Kennneth D. Johnson, In Nebraska the couple moved to several cities and towns in Nebraska, Iowa, and New Jersey while raising their family. Following Kenneth's retirement in 1995, Berdine lived in Branson, Missouri, before making her home in Port Orchard in 2001. Berdine enjoyed reading and was an avid golfer. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, kind spirit, and loving devotion to her family. Berdine was married for 67 years to her husband Kennneth, who preceded her in death in 2018. She is survived by her son Steven and his wife Brenda, her son Tracy and his wife Kristi, and six grandchildren.
