Grady Wright, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, in Stephenville, Texas. He was born on June 30, 1943, in Stephenville, to Jay C. and Lala (Sublett) Wright. He was a United States Army Veteran. On April 13, 1968, he was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Patterson in Hico. She preceded him in death on September 24, 2017. Grady was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He worked hard as a welder and later a used car salesman to provide for his family. He was a talented storyteller and loved to make people laugh. Grady went to as many car swap meets as he could and loved working on cars. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Ethaen and Nathan; and his parents, Jay C. and Lala Wright. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Comanche Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
