Bio
John Wesley "JW" Congleton was born to John Wesley and Meredith Lucille Gossett Congleton. He was a faithful Christian and member of Fields Chapel United Methodist Church. He served in the US National Guard and worked in the oil and gas industry for many years. His hobbies consisted of woodworking, hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Congleton is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Janet Hurbrough Congleton; daughter, Stephanie Congleton; sister, Vivian Sanders (Jerry); brothers, B.L. Congleton (Donna), Curtis Congleton; grandchildren, William Harmon and Mistie Harmon and great grandchildren, Kenzie, Ariana, Lane, Rhalie, Kayleee, Keaton and Kolt. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Congleton will be in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Scott Hurbrough officiating.; interment will follow in Fields Chapel Cemetery.
