Bio
Daughter of Joseph D. and Effie C. Lawrence Whisenhunt. Spouse of Paul Hendrix. She was the last surviving child of five siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her parents; an infant brother; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gertrude (Hubert) Cox, and Josephine (W. C.) Bailey; one brother, Edward R. Whisenhunt of Louisiana, who was to be buried on the day of her passing. She was married to Paul Hendrix for forty-three years. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; and one daughter, all of Polk County. Miss Muriel was a daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and devout Christian. She leaves twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends to celebrate her life. Services: New Hope Baptist Church Date of Burial: January 20, 2020
