Hazel Louvinia Newman, born in TX - Daughter of Asa Lee Newman and Canzada Elizabeth Bryan. Hazel married, 29 Mar 1939, Louis Alfred Schroeder, a son of Ernest Christian Schroeder and Selma Marie Christiana Biehle. Mother of Laverne Louise, Shirley Jean, Glenn Alfred, Donna Kay and Gary Schroeder. Granddaughter of George W Newman & Nannie Jane Oakley and Abner Reed Bryan & Ruth Canzada Ross. ~~~~~~~~~~~~O~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hazel Louvinia SCHROEDER 1923 - 2014 Hazel Louvinia Schroeder, age 91, of Round Rock, passed away Tuesday June 17, 2014. Hazel died peacefully at home with family by her side. She was the daughter of Asa Lee Newman and Canzada Elizabeth Bryan Newman. She was born in Thrall, Texas on February 6, 1923. Hazel is survived by her daughters, LaVerne Kirkpatrick and husband Tommy, Shirley Inman and husband Sammie, Donna Ferrell and husband Larry, her son Gary Louis Schroeder and wife Beth, nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Alfred Schroeder, son Glenn Alfred Schroeder, one sister, and five brothers. Hazel was a long time member of Palm Valley Lutheran Church in Round Rock. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014, from 6-8 pm at Beck Funeral Home, 15709 Ranch Road 620, Austin, TX. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 20, 2014, at 2 pm at Beck Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery. Published in Austin American-Statesman from June 19 to June 20, 2014.
