Jackie Delynn Huddleston December 12, 1936 - January 15, 2020 Jackie Delynn Huddleston, Sr., age 83, of Greenville, formerly a lifelong resident of Alba, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Alba at the Amazing Grace Fellowship Church with Bro. Billy Smith and Bro. Paul McMerrill officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening January 20, 2020 from 6-8 PM at the Amazing Grace Fellowship Church in Alba. Jackie Delynn Huddleston, Sr. was born in Emory, on December 12, 1936 to Charlie Lyndell and Alvis Lorene Sadler Huddleston. Jackie graduated from Emory High School and attended college in Commerce. He was a member of the 4-H, the FFA, and the American Milking Shorthorn Society (AMSS). He married Wanda Estell Wright in Emory, on December 26, 1958, and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage together. Jackie worked all his life as a dairy farmer and part owner of Oak Grove Farms in Alba. He so enjoyed catching the bids and also writing tickets on the cattle that went through the ring at Emory Livestock and Suphur Springs Livestock Commission. He showed his American Milking Shorthorn cattle and by doing this he was able to travel all over the United States. He also on occasion liked to show his Duroc Pigs. He loved his family, his livestock and living the dairy farmer life made him happy. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with all of them. Jackie was a member of Bull Creek Cowboy Church. Survived by: Wife: Wanda Estell Huddleston of Greenville, formerly of Alba, Daughter: Joyce Lynn of Alba, Son: Danny Mac Huddleston of Alba, 5 Grandchildren: Ken, Kerrie, Sharyse, James and Danielle, 8 Great-grandchildren: Taylor, Kaylee, Gene, Braden, Kaiden, Karsen, Hunter, and Emma.
