RoseMary Aronson, 64, of Urbandale, passed away from non-hodgkins lymphoma on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at home. Services will be held at St. Pius X Church in Urbandale at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2004. RoseMary was born to Emma and Joseph Stanislav in Blencoe, IA, on August 30, 1939. RoseMary was a teacher's aide at Olmsted Elementary School in Urbandale and then a receptionist with Pediatrics Associates, Integra Health until 1995. Upon retirement she volunteered in the assisted reading program at St. Anthony School in Des Moines. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, David Aronson, sons Jeff (Susan), and Scott of Des Moines; daughters Sharilyn (Eddie) Mauro of Des Moines, Marcia (Jerry) Nowak of Chicago, IL, and Alicia (Joe) Russo of Los Angeles, CA; sisters Adeline (Warren) Uhl of Cherokee, IA, and Helen Framke of Blencoe, IA; brother Larry (Nancy) Stanislav of Spencer, IA. She was a loving, very involved grandmother of Dominic and Mia Mauro, Sophia and Basil Russo, David and Maggie Nowak, and Tobias Whitmer and Jessica (Jason) Nevels of Des Moines. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m., Tuesday and the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until a 7 p.m. Vigil Service at Westover Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
