Ruby Mae Weeks Ruby Mae Weeks, 100, of Taylor, died Wednesday, August 17, 2005, in a local rest home. Mrs. Weeks was born at Beaukiss, Texas on May 21, 1905, the daughter of Nanny (Burney) and John F. O Rear. On August 28, 1928, she was married to Vernon Weeks. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, Charlie, Ruben, Sydney, Orbin and Roy O Rear, two sisters, Lillie O Rear Barnett, Johnnie O Rear Hutson, and son-in-law, Adolph Grieger, Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Verna Mae Grieger of Taylor, Gloria House of Houston; eight grandchildren, Adolph Grieger, Jr., Deby Lannen, Vernon Grieger, Shelly Brown, Randy Parker, Chris Parker, Paul House, Jason House, ten great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at Condra Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20, at Condra Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor City Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church, Taylor, TX. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to SPJST Rest Home for their loving care. Condra Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
