Malcolm Henry Foster, of White's Creek, Tennessee, died Wednesday night in Vanderbilt Hospital after a short illness. He was 49 years old. Mr. Foster was a native of Coffee County and a son of the late John and Minnie Norton Foster. He was a dairy farmer near Manchester for several years and later operated a dairy farm in Wisconsin. For several months he was employed by a veterinary supply firm in Joliet, Ill. and moved to Tennessee a few weeks ago, where he was engaged in the same type of work. He was a Baptist. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Blanton's Chapel Methodist Church, with the Rev. Richard Rawls and Rev. Jessie Smith officiating. Burial was in Blanton's Chapel Cemetery with Gilmore Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Ruby Crouch Foster; four daughters, Mrs. Wayne Keeling and Miss Jane Foster, of Manchester; Mrs. Billy Tomes, of Tullahoma, and Mrs. Robert Wochna, of Los Angeles, Calif.; a son, Malcolm Henry Foster Jr., of Manchester; one sister, Mrs. Leota Minor, of Manchester; three brothers, Louis, Johnny Frank and Woodrow Foster of Manchester, and three grandchildren.
